Senior Automation QA Engineer
Automation QA Engineer should review requirements, perform test automation activities in accordance to requirements (design and code), troubleshoot any problems, ensure that quality control standards are achieved, analyze results of tests for build acceptance.
Create tests based on testing requirements that are derived from reviewing product specifications and requirements. Testing every build with automatic scripts. Use scripts for integration testing of modules and the whole application.
- Evaluate, Development and Maintain test scripts; help functional testers to build scripts.
- New tools and Technical Test results investigations. Propose enhancements to the work, the practices to ensure quality improvement.
Maintain automation scripts or tools (set up and maintain test software).
Work with QA team members to support the existing repetitive test cases and automate them.
Prepare and maintain test data. Set up test data in the database as needed to reproduce issues and execute positive, negative and edge case testing.
Monitor and analyze test automation results; collate and provide test metrics and reports. Providing with information about suitability build for further testing.
Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
Manage activities in accordance to priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in Quality Control and automation testing.
Good knowledge of test methodology, understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Experience in small QC team coordination and setting tasks to other team members.
Knowledge of web technologies such as XML, basic knowledge of database manipulation is preferred, knowledge of SCV (git), experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira
- Experience in SCRUM/Agile projects.
Experience in development and maintenance of test automation frameworks. (Selenium, Java, Ruby, C# or Python).
English on Intermediate level.
